Ingeniero del ICAI, especialidad mecánica, de la promoción de 1990.En 1996 obtiene el título de Especialista Universitario en Técnicas de Investigación de la Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Comillas) y en 1998 el título de doctor. Desde 1990 trabaja en el Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica habiendo participado en proyectos de desarrollo de sistemas expertos de diagnóstico, sistemas de diagnóstico y control, equipos termoeléctricos de refrigeración, análisis de vibraciones, sistemas de reconocimiento de caracteres manuscritos, tratamiento de imágenes, etc.
